Mac dock for Windows 11: try it free for 7 days
Glassline's seven-day trial lets you try a Mac-style dock for Windows 11 before buying it. You get the whole app, including its menu bar, Launchpad, Search on the Windows key and Control Center.
Try Windows taskbar settings first
- Open Settings. Choose Personalization, then Taskbar, then Taskbar behaviors.
- Choose your alignment. With the taskbar at the bottom, set Taskbar alignment to Center or Left to place Start and your app icons where you prefer.
- Choose whether it hides. Select Automatically hide the taskbar to hide it between uses. Point at the bottom edge to bring it back.
Those settings change the taskbar's alignment and visibility; Glassline adds a separate dock at the bottom and a menu bar at the top.
See what the trial includes
The trial includes every part of Glassline. The design is Glassline's own, made for Windows 11, and Glassline has no connection to Apple.
The dock starts with the apps you keep on your Windows taskbar. Its icons grow under the pointer, and open apps have a dot beneath them. For adding apps and arranging them, follow the dock guide.
The other parts are included in the same trial. Read the menu bar guide, the Launchpad guide and the Search guide for their steps. Control Center puts Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, brightness and sound together.
Start your seven days
- Install Glassline from the Microsoft Store. Glassline can be tried free for 7 days: on its page, choose Free trial. It needs Windows 11, version 22H2 or later.
- Open Glassline. Its menu bar appears at the top and its dock at the bottom. While Glassline runs, the Windows taskbar and Start menu step aside.
- Click the clock in the menu bar, then Controls. Control Center shows its Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, brightness and sound controls.
Keep it or get your taskbar back
You can buy Glassline at any point during the trial. It is bought once, with no subscription.
- Right-click the menu bar. Glassline's menu opens.
- Choose Quit Glassline. The menu bar and dock leave the screen, and the Windows taskbar and Start menu return exactly as they were.
If the trial ends without a purchase, Glassline steps aside and your normal Windows taskbar comes back exactly as it was.
